KATHMANDU, Sept 3: Kaspersky Lab has introduced new edition of Kaspersky Anti-Virus and Internet security in Kathmandu, a press statement of the company said. Jagganath Patanaik, channel director-South Asia of Kaspersky Lab, unveiled the 2013 version amidst a program in the capital.



"The new version is even more secured with features of maximum protection for digital assets," the statement said, adding, "The new version has specialized safe money technology to protect online purchase."[break]



Shree Ridhi Sidhi Jewellers´s discount offer



KATHMANDU
: Shree Ridhi Sidhi Jewellers at Bishal Bazaar has announced speical discount offer for the upcoming Teej festival. According to a press statement issued by the company, the store has introduced ´Light Weight Collection´ as the demand for jewelries goes up during Teej.



Shree Ridhi Sidhi Jewellers is offering 30 percent discount on working charge on gold jewelries and 30 percent discount on diamond jewelries. The offer will last till September 16. The company is opening its new outlet at K L Tower, Chuchepati ahead of the Dashain festival.



NTB participates in TTF



KATHMANDU
: Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) participated in Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) 2012 held at Surat of Gujarat, India from August 31 to September 2 with the objective of informing Indian travelers about Nepal´s tourism products and offerings targeting the upcoming peak season. Issuing a statement, NTB said the three-day fair attracted more than 10,000 visitors. The event featured 140 stalls from different India states along with participation from the countries like the Maldives and Swtizerland.



In the event, NTB won the best print promotion award, attributed to excellent combination of both content and substance, the statement added. A total of 145,338 Indian tourists visited Nepal (via air) in 2011.



Royal Footwear introduces new products



KATHMANDU
: Royal Footwear has introduced new models of locally manufactured footwear to cater to the growing demand for fresh designs to match up with the festive mood. Issuing a press statement, the company said the newly launched products include casual shoes, sports shoes and school shoes. These products are priced in range of Rs 1,085 and Rs 5,199. Royal Footwear plans to launch shoes of all categories in the near future. The company has already launched around 150 models of footwear in the market. It has the capacity to produce 500 pairs of footwear each day.



Nimbus, Finaccess sign deal



KATHMANDU
: Nimbus Holdings and Finaccess have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will enable various businesses of Nimbus with a ubiquitous distribution network throughout Nepal, specifically in the rural parts of Nepal. A press statement issued by Nimbus says, the pact will enable over 500 dealers and sub-dealers of Nimbus Holdings to act as Hello Paisa Operators to offer Mobile Financial Services (MFS). Anand Bagaria, managing director of Nimbus Holdings and Sanjay B Shah, executive chairman of Finaccess, signed the deal on Monday on behalf of their respective institutions.



Finaccess operates and manages ´Hello Paisa´ mobile financial services platform that enables bank and financial institutions (BFIs) to provide ´Access to Finance for All´ through mobile banking using the Hello Paisa platform. Currently five BFIs -- Laxmi Bank, Bank of Kathmandu, Siddhartha Bank, Commerz and Trust Bank-Nepal and International Leasing and Finance Company -- are the partner banks within the Hello Paisa network.
