As per the press release issued by the association, Kritan Shrestha Duwal will lead the team as captain and coach as well. Bikram Bahadur Rana (vice captain), Bharat Thapa, Ratna Bahadur Rai, Khimanand Gaire, Sunil Subedi, Badri Chaulagain, Jivan Gurung, Shanta Bahadur Pahari, Santosh Sapkota, Shankar Regmi, Ram Prasad Paudel, Padam Badhela and Sunil Thapa Magar are the other members of the team.
The team will undergo closed-camp training for the event from January 6 to 12. Nepal will leave for India on January 15.
Pawan Ghimire, Bimal Paudel, Upendra Shrestha, Samrat Gautam, Lok Bahadur Gurung, Gita Regmi and Ram Bahadur Hamal are the team officials.
Pawan Ghimire, president of the association, will be the team manager.
Pakistan was about to host the event, which got postponed twice for different reasons and India was chosen to host the event next year.
Host India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan will take part in the event to be played in league format.
