The plane on flight number 792 had just taken off at 1:29 pm for Kathmandu from Biratnagar Airport when a bird darted into the plane's engine. Following this the plane had to make an emergency landing within four minutes of take off.
All 29 people on board the plane are safe and they were brought to Kathmandu by another aircraft, Yeti Airlines station manager in Biratnagar, Prem Kunwar, said.
According to him, engineers are checking the plane as some fault has been seen after the bird got sucked up into the plane's engine.
