Organizing a press meet in Biratnagar on Wednesday, the host informed that the preparation for the tournament will begin soon as the Trust has formed a host committee headed by its treasurer Rajendra Raut.
Santosh Baniya, acting president of the trust and vice-president of All Nepal Football Association, said that the works for the ground maintenance, technical and managerial parts have been started.
Altogether 11 teams will take part in the tournament, including seven domestic clubs Tribhuvan Army Club, APF Club, Nepal Police Club, Morang XI, Jhapa XI, Three Star Club and Manang Marshyangdi Club.
Similarly, Bhutan XI, Bangladesh A and two three Indian clubs George Telegraph, United Sikkim Football Club are the international teams taking part in the tournament.
The winner and runner-up will bag Rs 501,000 and Rs 301,000 respectively, while teams reaching the third round will get Rs 100,000, teams making it to the second round will get Rs 75,000 and teams exiting from first round will receive Rs 30,000 each.
