According to Bansbari General Secretary Madhusudan Upadhyaya, the club will come up with the Holidays logo on its jersey in football tournaments.
"Bansbari was established with the aim of playing football and the club is likely to tie up with other co-sponsors as well," Thapa, said adding, "We achieved our target of finishing in the top 10 position in the league last year. We are now eying to finish among the top eight in the current season."
Hinting that the demand of supporters had risen along with the level of performance, Thapa said, "We used to struggle to remain in A division in the past. Now the club has been performing better and supporters are expecting higher level of performance. Challenges have also increased and we are ready to face them."
According to Thapa, the annual budget of the Club was Rs 3.5 million and it was not much difficult for them to manage the amount. The club gets Rs 1.3 million from chief sponsor while the remaining amount would be raised from co-sponsors, own resources and support from the locals." He was also optimistic that the club will come up with some players from the academy run by the club.
Speaking on the occasion, ANFA President Ganesh Thapa said that football was gaining popularity among corporate houses. He also claimed that the financial status of players was improving as compared to past. Thapa said that he wished to see all A division players riding their own car and owning a house in Kathmandu.
