Bajracharya elected as judo association prez for 3rd ter,

KATHMANDU, Jan 27: Deepak Harsha Bajracharya has been elected as the president of Nepal Judo Association for the third term. The fifth general assembly of the association held on Tuesday elected Bajracharya to the post unopposed. The general assembly also elected a 20-member central committee under Bajracharya unopposed.



The general assembly elected Khadag Bahadur Dahal as senior vice-president, Sudeb Mahat, Piyush Shrestha, Ramesh Maharjan and Babu Raja Maharjan vice-presidents, Dharma Kumar Shrestha general secretary, Surya Narayan Shrestha under-secretary, Hemraj Bhandari secretary and Bipin Prasad Shrestha and Dinesh Acharya as treasurers.

Suraj Kaji Dotel, Manoj Bahadur KC, Madhab Raj Adhikari, Dharma Ratna Pachhai, Pramod Prasad Nepal, Ram Krishna BC, Bishnu Kumari Gurung, Rishi Ram Pradhan and Ganga Bahadur Dangol were elected as members. Similarly, Rajesh Shrestha, Padam Bahadur Budhathoki, Tejendra Thapa, Indra Dangol, Debu Thapa, Prithvi Alok and Chandra Dangol were nominated as members.


Judo coach Birendra Ranjit was nominated as ex-officio member. Sidhhi Bahadur Shakya, Dharmasila Chapagain, Hari Prasad Shrestha, Laxmi Ratna Tuladhar and Shailendra Man Shrestha are advisors.
