ANFA announces 23-member squad

KATHMANDU, Feb 28: All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) announced a 23-member national team on Thursday for the AFC Challenge Cup Qualifiers to be held in Kathmandu from March 2-6 at Dasharath stadium.



Addressing a press conference at Dasharath stadium, Coach Jack Stefandwski said that he was hopeful to qualify as the players underwent special individual training along with group training. [break]



Nepali squad:

Forward: Amar Dangol, Anil Gurung, Bharat Khawas, Chetan Ghimire, Santosh Shukhala, Jumanu Rai

Midfield: Bhola Silwal, Bijay Gurung, Bikram Lama, Jagajeet Shrestha, Nirajan Khadka, Rajendra Rawal, Raju Tamang

Defense: Bijay Dhimal, Biraj Maharjan, Jitendra Karki, Rabin Shrestha, Rohit Chand, Sagar Thapa, Sandip Rai

Goalkeepers: Kiran Chemzong, Bikesh Kuthu, Ritesh Thapa
