KATHMANDU, March 7: Ashish Gajurel of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has won the House of Representatives (HoR) seat from Sindhuli Constituency No. 2. In vote counting concluded on Saturday, Gajurel secured 17,940 votes to claim the seat.

His nearest rival, Lekhnath Dahal of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), received 14,780 votes, while Manoj Jung Thapa of the CPN-UML finished third with 11,606 votes.
Sushila Thing of the Nepali Congress garnered 6,760 votes, and independent candidate Maheshwar Dahal received 586 votes, according to the Election Commission.
