Acharya elected NATTA chairman

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: Madhu Sudan Achaya has been elected as the president of Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) for a period of two years. According to NATTA, he received 191 votes out of total 432 votes cast during the 52nd Annual General Meeting of NAATA held on Sunday.

Acharya’s whole panel won this year election. His opponents Mihika Dhakwa and Shambhu Raj Pathak received 164 and 57 votes respectively.

CN Pandey, DK Sharma, Bhim Prasad Pant, Sudhi Upadhyaya, Chitra Gurung and Sabita KC Bhattarai are the 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, General Secretary, Secretary, Treasurer and Joint Treasurer, respectively, in the new executive committee.



Similarly, Yubaraj Subedi, Laxman Lamsal, Ram Kumar Barakoti, Ghanashyam Ghimire, Binaya Basnet, Hari Bhakta Shrestha, Barun Mehta and Shital Kumari Sharma Poudel are the executive members.
