BAITADI, May 27: An ambulance carrying a patient and his caretakers from Dhangadi to Darchula veered off 1000 meters from the road but miraculously caused minor injuries to everyone on board.
The ambulance (Ma 1 Jha 103) skidded off the road at Sunarya rural municipality-3 on the Mahakali highway, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Netramani Giri.
‘Miraculous Places’ on display
The driver Govinda Dhami (24) of Malikarjun rural municipality-8; patient, Bishnudatta Bhatt (55), caretakers Devdatta Bhatt (40) and Ganeshdatta Bhatt (18) from Byas rural municipality-6, Basedi of Darchula, were injured in the incident. All of them are undergoing treatment at Baitadi District Hospital.
The victims, who sustained minor injuries, are undergoing treatment at Baitadi District Hospital.
