According to police, the youth attacked and killed Gam Bahadur Thapa of Rivan VDC-3 of the district after Thapa declined to send his jeep to receive them. The group was returning after playing football in Siding village. [break]
Police said Thapa had rejected their call for pick up explaining his busy schedule.
“Fact has been revealed that the youths had been waiting for Thapa after coming back to their village on their own. They attacked Thapa with sharp weapons, killing him,” said DSP Shyam Krishna Adhikari.
Adhikari informed that Thapa´s body was recovered on Tuesday morning.
Police has detained 15 youths for their part in the murder and are searching to two others who are on the run.
