Chief of District Public Health Office Mahendra Dhowj Adhikari said that treatment services have been badly affected as medicines and other medical kits were destroyed after the building collapse.
Adhikari said that health workers of some health posts are providing services from the VDC office buildings while few others are working in the tents. Likewise, many other health posts are still closed in the district.
He added that the health workers from other districts are providing services to the needy by conducting health camps in different areas.
Adhikari further said that status of health posts in Laprak, Gumda, Uhiya, Lapu, Kerauja, Kasigaun, Sirdibas, Chumchet, Chhekampar, Bihi, Prok, Lhyo and Samagaun VDCs is still unknown adding that supply of medicines to the VDCs is badly affected as the roads to the region are collapsed after the quake.
