DANG, March 2: As many as 23 people have been injured when a bus and a truck collided at Bakhariyamod, Phulbari on the Rapti highway in Dang district this morning.
The condition of five among the injured is critical, The Area Police Office, Tulasipur stated. Eighteen of the injured have been taken to the Rapti Zonal Hospital for treatment while the five critically injured ones have been taken to Kohalpur of Banke district for further treatment after undergoing general treatment at the Zonal hospital.

The accident took place when the passenger bus (Ra 1 kha 941) heading towards Nepalgunj from Tulasipur and the truck (Se 1 Kha 1287) collided at the place.
Those seriously injured in the accident are Govinda Sharma, 38, of Tulasipur Municipality-19, Keshar Bahadur Khadka, 77, of Manpur-2, and Bhim Bahadur Budhathoki, 74 , Kalawati Budhathoki, 65, and Kiran Chaudhary of Panchakule-4, Dang district. Sharma is the bus driver's helper. RSS
