Of the injured, condition of three passengers is critical, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.[break]
The accident took place when a bus (Na 2 Kha 3962) heading towards Narayangadh from Madi overturned at Patihani after the bus driver lost control of the vehicle.
The injured are undergoing treatment at different hospitals in the district. The Area Police Office, Geetanagar, has arrested the bus driver.
The accident took place while making attempts to save a pedestrian, it is learnt.
