Winners of essay writing competition awarded

KATHMANDU, May 29: Ambassador of Pakistan Arshed Saud Khosa distributed certificates and cash prize to the winners of this year's Ambassador of Pakistan Essay Writing Competition amidst a function held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Narayan Gopal Chowk, Maharajgunj last Tuesday (May 26).

Ayush Kumar Shah of Trinity International Higher Secondary School was declared the winner of the competition and awarded with a cash prize of Rs 30,000. Sushant Shrestha of Graded English Medium School (GEMS) secured the second position and Bibek Pandey of GEMS Institute of Higher Education secured the third position, and they were awarded with a cash prize of Rs 25,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively.Ten other participants were presented with a cash prize of Rs 5,000 each "for producing good essays".

The Embassy of Pakistan organizes the essay writing competition annually to promote and encourage writing and literary skills among Nepali students. The theme for this year's competition was 'The Middle East Crisis and Its Economic Effects in Nepal'.
