CHITWAN, Jan 7: Agitating UCPN (Maoist) cadres on Thursday pelted stones at the vehicle carrying Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, while he was being escorted to a meeting of CPN-UML cadres in Chitwan.

The prime minister, however, was left unhurt. Venting his anger against the attack, the prime minister said the Maoists will have to face the fate of LTTE if they continue their violent activities. He also asked the Maoists to stop issuing threats of “fresh rebellion”.
