UCPN (M) cadres pelt stones at Rijal's vehicle

KATHMANDU, Oct 30: UCPN (Maoist) cadres pelted stones at the vehicle being used by publicity committee coordinator of the Nepali Congress Minendra Rijal.



The UCPN (Maoist) cadres pelted stones at the vehicle of Rijal at Tinmane Bhanjyang while he was on his way to address an election program to be held at Batase of Gorkha Constituency-1 on Wednesday.  [break]



It is learnt that  the vehicle was ferrying central member of the Nepali Congress Surendra Pandey and central party chief secretary Chinkaji Shrestha apart from Rijal.



Both the sides had a heated spat over the issue after the cadres hurled stones at the vehicle, said Chief Secretary Shrestha.
