Leader of armed outfit killed in police action in Parsa

PARSA, July 3: A district-level leader of the armed outfit died in a clash between the police and the armed gang in Parsa district on Saturday night.



According to Superintendent of Police, Parsa, Ramesh Kharel, district level leader Manish Singh was killed in the action when the gang of five people attacked the police team near Sirsiya River in the district. [break]



Police said the gang was also involved in different criminal activities in Birgunj.



The body has been kept at Narayani Zonal Hospital for postmortem.
