The Ministry has sent Dr. Purushottam Gautam, an epidemiologist, at the Department of Epidemiology and Disease Control, to examine the victims and study the prevalence of the disease in the area.[break]
A three member team has already begun investigation under his leadership since Sunday. The other members on the team are Jeevan Chaulagain, the Vector Controller Supervisor and Ved Prasad Ghimire, Vector Control Inspector, at the District Public Health Office, Jhapa.
