Martin Perschler directs the US Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation, a cultural heritage preservation grant program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the US Department of State. In Nepal, it has provided financial and technical assistance for reconstruction of Gaddi Baithak at Hanuman Dhoka and other heritage sites in Kathmandu valley.
