According to a statement issued by a member of International Department of CPN-UML Milan Raj Tuladhar, the envoy expressed firm support to the efforts of High Level Political Committee (HLPC) and the government to hold the election on the announced date. The envoy said the members of diplomatic corps and the international development partners of Nepal have made similar expressions.[break]
"This opportunity to bring peace and stability in Nepal must not be lost again. The UK government is behind the Nepali people in their efforts to bring peace and development in the country," the statement quoted the envoy as saying. On the occasion, UML Chairman Khanal said parties in HLPC were trying to their best to be inclusive in the forthcoming election.
