UCPN(Maoist) candidates urged to withdraw from poll race

NEPALGUNJ: The Mohan Baidya-led CPN-Maoist has urged UCPN (Maoist) candidates in writing to withdraw their candidacies in Banke district.



The agitating CPN-Maoist cadres submitted a letter to UCPN (Maoist) party office in Nepalgunj. [break]



“We handed over the letter to Damodar Acharya, who is a UCPN (Maoist) candidate for constituency 3 of the district,” said IP Kharel, central committee member of CPN-Maoist.



He said that his party has urged candidates of all parties to withdraw fro the poll race as it is “not in interest of Nepali people”.
