BALEWA, Baglung, March 16: Secretary of the CPN-UML, Pradip Gyawali, has accused the alliance led by the UCPN (Maoist) of wasting time in the name of dialogue.

Addressing a political gathering organized by the party as part of the by-election campaign here on Sunday, Secretary Gyawali said the Constituent Assembly could not be postponed for long in the name of talks. If the consensus eludes again, voting must be adopted to bring the constitution on time, he stressed.

Balewa (Baglung), March 16: Secretary of the CPN-UML, Pradip Gyawali, has accused the alliance led by the UCPN (Maoist) of wasting time in the name of dialogue.

Addressing a political gathering organized by the party as part of the by-election campaign here on Sunday, Secretary Gyawali said the Constituent Assembly could not be postponed for long in the name of talks. If the consensus eludes again, voting must be adopted to bring the constitution on time, he stressed.

"The politics of negation has marred the national politics," he said, adding that the country has been a captive of indecision because every political party wants to foist his agenda in the constitution writing process.

According to him, the constitution writing was delayed because some political powers were for not bringing it from the Constituent Assembly.

The UML is for the rights of all castes, religions, languages, classes and regions.

On different note, he stressed the empowerment of women to reduce the violence against them. RSS
