KATHMANDU, Feb 6: Pradeep Gyawali, the deputy secretary general of the ruling CPN-UML, has said that it is necessary to sustain the ruling coalition.
He argued that it is necessary to maintain the ruling coalition in order to complete the presidential election and remove the political instability and confusion in the country.

Speaking at a program organized by Rafat Sanchar Club in Bhaktapur on Monday, Gyawali also said that the ruling parties should stand firmly to implement the agreement reached on December 25. He also mentioned that the Nepali Congress (NC) should not show double character by seeking the position of opposition party and staking claim for a power sharing in major state positions.
Gyawali also said that the NC should play the role of a strong opposition to prevent democracy from getting weak.
