Two Limbuwan cadres held

URLABARI, May 24: Police held two Limbuwan cadres while they were collecting donations from vehicles along the East-West Highway.



According to Urlabari Area Police Office, Ranjit Limbu, 37, and Ajaya Limbu, 30, of Pathari VDC-1 in the Morang district were arrested.



A patrolling team of Armed Police Force held them from Jirikhimti of Sanishchare VDC-1.



Police seized cash and receipts printed with Federal Limbuwan State Council from the duo.



Limbuwan Volunteers which is affiliated with the council said the duo had already been expelled from the party for acting against party policy. Morang in-charge of the volunteers Rabin Chemjong said the duo had been expelled from even the ordinary membership of the council.
