KATHMANDU, Dec 30: Police arrested two individuals with 160 kilograms of illegal narcotics from the road at Bhawanipur, Sitaram Chowk, in Birgunj Metropolitan City-18, Parsa on Sunday night.
The arrested persons are Krishna Ghalan, 44, of Kamane, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-7, Makwanpur, and Ronal Bishwokarma, 20, of Rapti Municipality-3, Chitwan. Police deployed from the District Police Office, Parsa, while checking a truck numbered (Na 3 Kha 4212) heading towards the dry port from Parwanipur, found the same quantity of marijuana in 16 bags concealed in plastic bags hidden in the truck's hood.
The police have arrested the truck driver Ghalan and the passenger Bishwokarma.
