KATHMANDU, Feb 12: A drain burst that caused flooding in front of the District Court in Babarmahal, Kathmandu, has caused a traffic snarl. The road became congested as the drain spilled onto the street on Wednesday afternoon.
Vehicles traveling from Baneshwor towards Maitighar are unable to pass due to the drain flowing across the road. The dirty water from the burst drain spread across the street, disrupting vehicle traffic and making it difficult for pedestrians to walk.
The flooded road has caused passengers to get stuck, and vehicles are caught in the resulting traffic jam. To alleviate the inconvenience, traffic police are working on alternate arrangements.
