Thakur, Gupta discuss division of portfolios

BHAKTAPUR, Sept 1: Chairmen of the Terai Madhes Loktantrik Party (TMLP) Mahanta Thakur and Jaya Prakash Gupta of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (Republic) held discussion on Thursday morning regarding the ministerial portfolio division to join the government from the parties concerned.



The Madhes-based parties have not finalized the name of ministers to join the coalition government though the parties are likely to get 11 ministries. [break]



The leader duo held discussions for around 45 minutes at Thakur´s residence in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur.



It has been reported that the Madhes-based parties will submit the names of the ministers by this afternoon by forging consensus.



As per the agreement, Madheshi Janadhikar Forum (Democratic) is sure to get four ministries while TMLP, MJF (Republic) and TMLP-Nepal will get two ministries each and Sadbhawana Party will get a ministry in the Bhattarai-led government.
