KATHMANDU, July 9: The Special Court in Kathmandu on Tuesday granted bail of 200,000 to suspended Nepal Telecom Managing Director Sangita Pahadi.
The decision was made by a joint bench of judges, comprising Tej Narayan Singh Rai, Ram Bahadur Thapa, and Bidur Koirala, following the completion of her statement and a detention hearing.
The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority had filed a corruption case at the Special Court on June 8 against Pahadi and 17 others. They were accused of irregularities in the "Billing System Upgrade" project.
