Sugam & Smriti Mr/Miss Vogue ANA '13

KATHMANDU, July 7: Leaving behind seven strong contenders each in the final round, Sugam Shrestha and Smriti Shrestha bagged the Mister and Miss Vogue ANA 2013 titles respectively at the ANA Fashion Extravaganza at Hotel Hilton, Westchester, New York on Friday. The event was organized on the second day of the 39th convention of the Association of Nepalis in the Americas (ANA). The winners walked home with a model rehab contract worth US $3250 along with various gift hampers. Smriti also won the Miss Photogenic title. [break]



The event saw performances by singers Prem Raja Mahat and Narendra Pyasi, and a concert from a local band of Nepali youth, stated the press release. Among the judges of the fashion extravaganza were industrialist Rahul Chaudhary, singer Nalina Chitrakar and the convention’s chief co-coordinator Samir Maharjan. A large number of Nepali fashion lovers attended the event.
