Sobhraj verdict after decision on fake passport case

KATHMANDU, Jan 13: The Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled that it would announce its verdict on murder-convict French national Charles Sobhraj only after a lower court decides the fake passport case involving Sobhraj. The case is pending at the Kathmandu District Court.



Sobhraj is currently in the jail in Kathmandu since his arrest in September 2003 after the Kathmandu Distric Court slapped him with life term for murdering US citizen Connie Jo Bronizch back in 1975.
