The jeep (Lu. 1 Ja 1906) bound to Rukum Kot from Solaghat met with the accident at Solaghat.[break]
Sudha BC, 30, of Shobha VDC-3 from Rukum, her three-year-old son Sandip BC and Bata Oli, 51 of Shibhathar from Salyan district were among the dead in the accident, according to police.
Police said another one killed in the accident has not been identified.
Similarly, a twelve-year-old-girl, Biswas Pun of Shivalaya VDC-9, was dead and six other children were injured in a jeep mishap at Chhamarke in Parbat district.
Critically injured Ramu GC and Ashok Chapagain have been sent to Pokhara for treatment. They have been reported to be the passengers of jeep (Ga.1 Cha1741) heading from Chhamarke to Armadi for the Deusi-Bhailo programme.
In the incident, 13 other passengers heading to Maldhunga from Kushma bazaar were injured. Four among them have sustained critical injuries.
They have been undergoing treatment in Parvat District Hospital in Kushma bazaar.
Moreover, two persons were dead in a road accident at Rampur Tokani-3 of Bara district along the Pathlaiya-Birgunj road section Saturday.
Bhanu Pratap Kalawar and his two-year-old son were killed when a tractor (Na 2 Pa 601) heading to Birgunj from Pathalaiya knocked a bicycle, according to police.
Pillion rider Raju Pratap died on the spot while his father breathed his last while being treated in Narayani Zonal Hospital at Birgunj.
