The ITF presented the awards to their players during an event organized to mark its 18th anniversary. Santoshi, player of Armed Police Force Club, had been named the best player of the national tournament last year after she bagged two gold medals. Similarly, Purna, who hails from Morang, had won three gold and pocketed best player award during a national tournament in last season.Likewise, APF coach Bishwa Shrestha was given the best coach of the year award during the program organized at the Lainchaur Table Tennis Training Center, Kathmandu.
All three award winners received Rs 5,000 each.
Similarly, Banke district won the award for conducting best training among districts and New Model Academy of Baglung among schools across the country.
ITF President Anjunath Shrestha members and players of the association attended the award ceremony.
