Saints mobility up; four entry doors to remain open

KATHMANDU, Feb 19: Mobility of saints and sages coming from various parts of the country and abroad is visible at Pashupati area when the Mahashivaratri is round the corner.



The movement of saints and devotees has increased in the sacred religious site as the day of Shivaratri (special worship to Lord Shiva) this year falls on Monday. [break]



Monday is deemed the special day to offer prayers to Lord Shiva.



Around 8,000 sages, saints and naked babas have so far arrived at the Pashupati area from various parts of the country and different Indian provinces, said Treasurer of the Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT), Narottam Baidhya.



Lodging and food accommodation has been arranged for the saints and sages arrived from various placed with the assistance of Trust, Guthi and various organizations.
