RSP’s Rajunath Pandey defeats Kulman Ghising in Kathmandu-3

According to Election Officer Chamila Bhattarai, Pandey secured 18,757 votes, while his closest rival Ghising received 11,171 votes.

KATHMANDU, March 6: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Rajunath Pandey has been elected to the House of Representatives (HoR) from Kathmandu Constituency-3, defeating Ujyalo Nepal Party Chair Kulman Ghising.



According to Election Officer Chamila Bhattarai, Pandey secured 18,757 votes, while his closest rival Ghising received 11,171 votes.

Pandey won the seat by a margin of 7,586 votes.


This marks a defeat for Ghising, the chair of the Ujyalo Nepal Party, in the parliamentary race from the constituency.
