RSP candidate KP Khanal wins in Kailali-2

KP Khanal from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has emerged victorious in Kailali Constituency No. 2. Election Officer Indra Prasad Shrestha reported that Khanal secured 19,570 votes.

KAILALI, March 8: KP Khanal from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has emerged victorious in Kailali Constituency No. 2. Election Officer Indra Prasad Shrestha reported that Khanal secured 19,570 votes. Patiram Chaudhary of the Nagarik Unnmukti Party Nepal garnered 11,949 votes, while Surya Bahadur Thapa from the CPN-UML  received 7,886 votes. 



Bijay Bahadur Swar of the Nepali Congress obtained 7,213 votes, and Nanda Bahadur Saud from the Nepali Communist Party received 4,369 votes.

From a total of 107,757 registered voters, 56,770 ballots were cast in this constituency.
