KATHMANDU, July 23: Constituent Assembly Chairman Subas Nembang has said on Wednesday that the new constitution would be written by mid-August incorporating the feedbacks from the people. Accepting a report that included feedbacks for changes, among others, to the fundamental rights, CA Chair Nembang said that 33,000 feedbacks had been received so far.

The feedback, handed over by a joint delegation of FIAN Nepal, National Food Rights Network and Human Rights Journalists' Association, includes call for addition of provisions guaranteeing protection of rights during emergency, and provisions for giving priority on the use of natural resources to people who are depended on them.
The feedback submitted to the CA chair includes suggestions for changes to Clause 1 of Article 41 to have a provision of food rights for each citizens and replacing the phrase "as per the law" in Article 3 with "food sovereignty for each citizen.
