Chhetri said he has participated in about 50 international tournaments, including the Fourth Korea Open Taekwondo Championship where he won a gold medal during his heydays. Chhetri holds a fifth dan black belt.
Chhetri also claimed a silver medal during the 25th Open Taekwondo Championship in the USA, the email further states.
