ROLPA, Sept 26: The private sector has to initiate development activities for Nepal, Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) President Suraj Vaidya said Thursday, addressing the 10th annual general meeting of Rolpa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI).
Inaugurating RCCI’s newly constructed building, Vaidya focused on the need for the private sector to take Nepal’s development ahead at a time the country lacks a constitution and stable government. [break]
Vaidya also said political parties need to co-ordinate with each other and successfully give the country its constitution. “The question is not whether an election will be held or not. It is all about whether a constitution will be endorsed in time or not,” Vaidya said.
On the occasion, Bhaskar Raj Rajkarnikar, a vice president of FNCCI, urged people to cast their votes only for those candidates that have proper economic agendas within their election manifestos.
