Police teams exchange blows

BIRGUNJ, Sept 8: Two police teams came to blows on Tuesday morning in Birgunj.

The incident occurred after Head Constable Keshar Singh and another constable who were headed for Raxaul with their sisters for shopping were stopped by Maiti Nepal volunteers. Police personnel from the nearby Inharwa Police Post got involved leading to fisticuffs. Singh received minor injuries in the incident that occurred at 5 a.m.

Singh and the constable have been detained in the District Police Office, Parsa, for interrogation.
