Police said most of the stolen motorcycles were of FZ, Pulsar and Discover brands. The motorcycles stolen from Kathmandu were sold to people in Chandranigahpur and other villages in Sarlahi and Bara.
Police sub-inspector Raj Kumar Shahi said an additional 15 motorcycles have been seized and kept at Area Police Office, Chandranigahpur.
Owners of stolen bikes are found to have been using fake bluebooks and changing the form of the vehicles besides changing the number plates.
