PM Koirala condoles death of APJ Abdul Kalam

KATHMANDU, July 28: Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of India's former President APJ Abdul Kalam. India's former President Kalam died last night at the age of 84.

"I am saddened to hear the news of passing away of Kalam," said PM Koirala.

In a message, PM Koirala has expressed his condolence to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Government of India, relatives of Kalam and the Indian people on behalf of the government and people of Nepal and on his own in this hour of grief.

PM Koirala has also recalled Kalam's contributions to lead India in the path of scientific advancement and progress.
