The highest number of complaints is against the UML candidate from Constituency No. 2, Dr. Duman Singh Thapa. The complaints against Thapa concern constructing roads in Thada and Nuwakot by using dozer, distribution of water supply pipes, using coloured posters and hoarding boards, and using a large number of vehicles during canvassing for the election. One complaint against him is related to extremely loud noise in course of campaigning.

Similarly, the complaints against Dr. Ram Bahadur BC, the Nepali Congress candidate from Constituency No. 1, concern providing free health check-up and medicines to voters while campaigning in the villages.

The complaints against the UCPN (Maoist) candidate from Constituency No. 1, Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, is that he had road constructed from Ward Number 7 to 9 in Argha VDC.

The District Election Office, Arghakhanchi has stated that it has already informed the concerned parties and their candidates about the complaints and asked them to immediately stop such activities and fully abide by the election code of conduct.

Assistant Election Officer Govinda Ghimire said that the office has also deputed teams for monitoring the code adherence by the parties and candidates. The office has also removed the posters, pamphlets and hoarding boards which had been placed flouting the election code of conduct at different places in the district, he added.
