KATHMANDU, March 24: Political parties have started exercises on selecting their candidates for the upcoming local level elections. The Election Commission has already published the election programs for the local polls on May 14.

According to the Election Code of Conduct, candidates and political parties should open a bank account for lections and conduct all election-related transactions through the bank account as per the expenditure ceiling set by concerned law.
