KATHMANDU, Feb 3: Senior leader of the ruling Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Pashupati Shumsher JB Rana claimed that the current government has failed to tackle the key burning issues of the nation.

Speaking at an interaction organized by the Reporters Club in the capital on Wednesday, leader Rana said the Oli-led government has failed to resolve the Madhes unrest and expedite the reconstruction works after the devastating earthquake.

"The government is simply repeating benefits from pro-UML NGOs by outsourcing reconstruction works to them, he said. We are in favor of two Madhes-provinces in the Tarai region since the beginning. We don't know why the current government is not paying heed to our advice. If it does not change in its stance, we will pull out of the government," threatened, Rana

He further said that it would be reasonable to have two provinces in the Tarai region. It is not good to bicker over the mandate of the to-be-formed political committee.
