Notorious criminal Jaisawal nabbed

BARA, July 26: A joint team of Nepal police and Indian police on early Friday morning arrested notorious criminal, Sunil Jaisawal aka Agni, a "platoon commander" of the Tara-based armed underground outfit, Terai Mukti Morcha, in Adamapur, East Champaran of Bihar, India.



According to police sources, Jaisawal, who was enlisted on the most wanted list of Nepal police for the murder of four Maoists cadres, was arrested at around 3 am today. [break]



Jaisawal had defected to the armed underground outfit in some six years ago while serving as head constable in the Armed Police Force.



Two years later, Jaisawal-led group had killed four state committee level Maoist cadres including Kanhaiya Yadav, Ram Prakash Yadav and Dara Yadav in Gunjbhawanipur of Bara district. Cases related to robbery, murder and abduction have been filed against him.
