Bogati also reiterated his parties commitment to the peace process and constitution writing and said the new statute will not be promulgated before the May 28 deadline given other parties remain adamant on their current stances.
He warned of some dire consequences if the deadline for the new constitution is missed. "Nepal will really plunge into a disastrous situation after May 28, in which there will be a threat of a fresh conflict."
Bogati, who is known to be close to party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, stated that the alternative to the incumbent government can always be explored but said Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai would step down only after an atmosphere for the formation of consensus government is created.
On the occasion, the minister also said works are ongoing to make the country free of power-outage by 2075.
