"The use of children of tender age in protest programs and writing slogans on their half-nude body is against child rights," stated the commission. "Thus we urge organizers of such protests to stop using innocent children," the statement said.

The commission has also urged the government to take necessary action against individuals using children for protest activities. "Using children for protest activities is a condemnable act," stated the NHRC. The NHRC has urged all the concerned agencies and persons to protect child rights.
