KATHMANDU, Nov 25: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has urged the government not to use force and arrest protestors, but respect their freedom of opinion and expression.
It has, however, urged agitators to launch their protests within the limits of the constitution, law and norms and values of human rights.

The NHRCC has requested the protestors to play the role of a responsible citizen by not misusing social media and doing any activity that may cause violence," read a statement issued by its Spokesperson Tikaram Pokharel.
Stating that its attention was drawn to the demonstrations staged by the Youth Association Nepal and the one staged in the name of the campaign to save the nation, nationality, religion, culture and citizens, and hate speeches posted on various social media, the NHRC has also urged both sides to exercise restraints and refrain from expressing hate speeches.
