Newspaper burnt in Birgunj, press vehicle attacked in Sunsari

BIRGUNJ, Feb 21: Cadres of Madhesi People’s Rights Forum have burnt copies of Bypass Daily in Birgunj Saturday morning. The activists claimed the newspaper carried “wrong” news about the two day strikes called by the party. Similarly, victims of Koshi embankment deluge vandalized a vehicle of Kantipur Publications in Haripur of Sunsari, alleging that Kantipur did not carry news about their ongoing strikes.
